5 On It Foundation are delighted to announce they are running a free tennis coaching programme to give juniors a chance to be introduced to this fantastic racket sport. Supported by the Milton Keynes Community Foundation, our fully qualified/DBS checked coaches will give participants an opportunity to develop key skills including how to rally, serve and smash in a low-stress, high fun environment. The 4 week programme takes place at Stantonbury International School, Stantonbury, Milton Keynes MK14 6BN. It’s A Kinda Magic!

Magic Little Grants has awarded 5 On It Foundation, through our Local Giving page, with a £500 donation to help pay for coaches and buy equipment to run our Smash It Tennis programme. This exciting initiative will make it easy for children to try tennis by taking the sport into the heart of the community through the Festival and fun, informal weekly tennis lessons with no dress code. We will advertise the free lessons and Festival in places that are familiar to the community such as churches, mosques, schools and community halls. 5 On It Secure MKCF Grant

5 On It Foundation have been fortunate enough to receive a Small Grant from MK Community Foundation to help us run a pilot tennis coaching programme prior to holding our Smash It Tennis Festival next Spring. The initiative aims to provide opportunities for children of all ethnicities to get into tennis who might not have had the resources to pick up a racket.  Our focus will be on those from disadvantaged areas of Milton Keynes who might be from families with unemployment, poor health prospects, physical inactivity and low self-esteem.
