HORIBA UK Funded PlacesFree Nutri Hoops & Nutri Netters sessions for local families

Thanks to the generous support of HORIBA UK, we are delighted to offer a limited number of fully funded places at our Nutri Hoops & Nutri Netters sessions at Oakgrove School Community Hall.

Our programme runs across five weeks from 3rd October to 7th November, with three age-group sessions available on each programme date.

Normally, families book the full five-week programme for ยฃ34. Our HORIBA UK funded places allow eligible families to attend individual sessions completely free of charge.

You do not have to attend all five weeks. You can apply for the individual dates you would like your child to attend.

Please be aware that we only have a limited number of funded places available. Unfortunately, this means we may not be able to accept every application or provide every date requested.

Who can apply?

Our funded places are designed to support families where the cost of children’s activities may otherwise prevent or make it difficult for their child to take part.

You are welcome to apply if your family is experiencing circumstances including:

  • Receiving Universal Credit
  • Receiving unemployment-related benefits
  • Financial hardship or a low household income
  • Domestic abuse or living in refuge accommodation
  • A child in foster care or kinship care
  • Living in temporary or emergency accommodation
  • Other difficult financial or family circumstances

We understand that every family’s circumstances are different. If your situation isn’t listed but you are experiencing financial difficulty and feel your child would benefit, you are still welcome to apply.

All applications will be treated sensitively and confidentially.

Choose the sessions that work for you

You do not need to commit to the full five-week programme.

When you apply, you can select the individual dates you would like your child to attend. You may request one session or several sessions across the programme.

We will spread our funded places across the five weeks so that as many local children and families as possible have the opportunity to benefit.

Because places are limited, submitting an application does not guarantee a funded place. We will confirm which of your requested sessions we are able to offer.

Please only book sessions you can attend

Every funded place has been paid for to give a child the opportunity to take part, so please only reserve sessions you genuinely intend to attend.

We completely understand that children get poorly and plans change. If you can no longer attend, that’s absolutely fine โ€“ we simply ask that you let us know or cancel your place so we can offer it to another child.

If you book a funded session and do not attend without cancelling or contacting us, you will lose any remaining funded sessions you have booked.

This helps us ensure that valuable funded places don’t go unused when another family could have benefited from them.

Apply for a funded place

If the cost of attending would be a barrier for your family, please complete our short application form and tell us which sessions you would like to attend.

We will review applications and contact you to confirm whether we can offer your child a funded place.

Thank you to HORIBA UK

We are incredibly grateful to HORIBA UK for making these funded places possible.

Their support is helping more local children access positive opportunities to get active, build confidence, learn new skills and have fun through Nutri Hoops & Nutri Netters.

All applications will be treated sensitively and confidentially.
