5 On It receive Funding from Barclays Bank

We are over the moon to have been awarded funding from Barclays Bank which will be used to run a girls-only football programme in Milton Keynes specifically designed for girls at risk of social isolation, low confidence, poor mental wellbeing or exposure to unsafe environments.

The aim of the initiative will be to provide a safe, supportive and empowering space where girls aged 12 โ€“ 18yrs can take part in regular football sessions while also engaging in guided conversations around confidence, healthy relationships, resilience and personal safety. By creating a female-only environment we remove potential barriers such as intimidation, cultural restrictions or lack of confidence allowing participants to fully participate and express themselves.
