MK Movers

We are excited to be part of the newly formed MK Movers group – a network of like minded organisations, who have come together to help children and young people of Milton Keynes to become active with a wide range of sports and physical activities to offer. This amazing programme is supported by LEAP and Milton Keynes Community Foundation. Members include:

Leap is a social enterprise that aims to improve the lives of residents in Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes through facilitating and/or funding physical activity and sport activities.

Milton Keynes Community Foundation is a leading grant-making charity sending funding where it’s needed most in Milton Keynes. They lead the way in supporting community projects and charitable activities to help create a fairer more connected community.

Milton Keynes Dance Centre provides a wide range of dancing classes for both children and adults including ballet, rock ‘n roll and disco. The majority of their classes are held in the Success Temple in New Bradwell.

All People Active provides a mix of free and affordable sport programmes for all ages to help improve physical, mental and emotional health in order to enhance quality of life.

The Milton Keynes Basketball offers local boys and girls the opportunity to play basketball at both community and elite level. More recently the Club has formed a senior Division 3 team which has already created a huge fan base.

Safari Health Hub provides a wide range of fitness classes including  Muay Thai, Gymnastics and BJJ offering support and tuition to all levels from 18 months to adult.

Paramount parkour was the first parkour specific gym in the UK founded by Ninja Warrior Ruel DaCosta. He and his team are qualified in teaching all ages from 4 years old to adults. Classes are in specific level so students can work at their own rate.

Boxing Clever (Website coming) is a new youth diversion programme run at Bletchley Boxing Club in Kiln Farm with an aim to provide a positive influence for young people away from crime and anti-social behaviour.

Climb Quest offers action-packed climbing suitable for everyone from 4 years upwards and is a fun and healthy activity to enjoy with friends and family. Climb Quest also offers corporate events from networking to team building, as well as birthday parties and special occasions.
