5 On It are so excited to be partnering with http://www.allpeopleactive.com/ and https://www.nutritroops.com/ to run a Haf Free Spring Activity Camp! Haf is a government scheme which helps provide activities and food to families with children in receipt of benefit-related Free School Meals (FSM) during school holidays. Join Nutri Troops creator Peter Bakare for four days of Nutri Troops Olympic themed games with real life and interactive healthy lifestyle activities for children aged 6-11 years old. Our Give it a Go programme is now fully booked but a big thank you to all those who managed to grab a place and are coming along to the Bletchley Leisure Centre every Monday 4 - 6pm to try a different sport each week! We started off with basketball and yesterday we had a blast playing football. Huge thanks to https://www.leapwithus.org.uk/ for funding this programme and a big shout out to the amazing coaches from Milton Keynes https://www.premier-education.com/ for running the sessions. The programme runs for another 3 weeks, we hope to announce our next free sport initiative next month!

5 On It Foundation, with the helping of funding from Leap , are excited to be running a FREE Give It a Go Sports programme where participants can try a different sport each week! Run in partnership with the amazing coaches from Premier Sports, boys and girls aged 8 - 16 years are invited to join us for 5 weeks of different activities including dodge ball, badminton, basketball and more! It starts Monday 28th February 4-6pm at the Bletchley Leisure Centre. For more details please click here

5 On It Foundation are delighted to be awarded Sport England funding from https://www.leapwithus.org.uk to run a Give It A Go sports programme. This exciting 6 week initiative will give young people a chance to try six different sports across 6 weeks - as always the sessions will be free and there will be prizes to be won! It starts next month, date and booking details to be announced soon!

A massive thank you to Anytime Fitness Kenilworth and their generous club member for donating a bumper box of equipment to 5 On It Foundation which included tennis balls, footballs and basketballs! This wonderful contribution will be instrumental in making our 2022 free community events even better! Dates of our next sports programmes to be announced soon!

Young ballers from all over Milton Keynes turned up for our fantastic 3x3 basketball tournament held at The Bletchley Leisure on 20th December.  The event, run in partnership with MK Basketball, was held in recognition of 5 On It's anti-gang initiative Gang Today Gone Tomorrow which uses basketball and mentoring to inspire, educate and push young people away from gangs.   Throughout the day nearly 100 boys and girls, all wearing Gang Today Gone Tomorrow t-shirts to promote the anti-gang message, battled on court and were given free pizza, courtesy of Dominos, whilst winners from each age group were presented with medals by Michaela Clark and Peter Bakare from The Milton Keynes Community Foundation who were one of the key funders of the tournament.  The Mayor of Milton Keynes, Cllr…

We are delighted to announce the launch of the 5 On It bursary scheme to provide a pathway for children and young people who take part in our sports and arts programmes, so they can continue their passion if they aren’t otherwise able to do so. This exciting initiative could not have been launched without further financial support from our patron John Baldwin who, inspired by his beautiful late wife Sylvia, has a passion for helping those who need it most . A footballer legend from the epic Chelsea Football Club has donated an amazing collection of goodies, including play stations and football kit, to the 5 On It Foundation. Anonymity has been requested but needless to say this wonderful man wanted to support our free football programmes planned for next year for children entitled to free school meals, run with the help of Premier Sports.
