We are over the moon to have been awarded another £1500 by Turners Court Youth Trust which gives grants to charities which aim to help young people fulfil their full potential by providing high quality early intervention programmes. This funding will help us provide more mentoring to those at risk of being attracted to gangs.

This programme is funded by the Government’s HAF scheme which provides free activities to children and teenagers who are in receipt of free school meals, we also have secured additional funding to provide another 20 free places to all 12-16 year olds – see booking link below. 5 On It were honoured and thrilled that the Milton Keynes Food and Leisure Awards (https://www.mkfla.com/), which took place earlier this month, selected us as their Official 2023 Charity to support on the night of the Awards! A huge number of local organisations (listed below) donated prizes to the raffle and auction and we thank them all so much - an amazing total of £2500 was raised! This wonderful opportunity not only helped raise awareness of our work with children who live in poverty but more crucially helped us raise funds to provide more free Nutri Troops holiday camps! 5 On it were over the moon to receive last minute funding from the National Lottery to enable them to lay on additional activities for young people during the summer break. Their generous support allowed 5 on it to run additional basketball coaching sessions across Milton Keynes and run a basketball tournament and football tournament in areas such as Eaglestone and Leadenhall. The local news channel were interested to find out more about our unique activity for teenagers which offered a range of physical activities, such as football and basketball, as well as technology programmes including social media and DJ workshops. Consequently we will be organising a free 5 aside football tournament for 12 years and over as part of our Gang Today Gone Tomorrow anti-gang initiative that uses sport to encourage safety at street level.
